Applications are now open for the Respiratory Therapy Program at Victor Valley College!

Are you interested in joining the quickly growing healthcare field of Respiratory Therapy?

Would you like to learn how to treat and care for patients who have breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders?

You can gain academic, laboratory and clinical training and experience all through VVC’s RT program and earn your Associate Degree of Science in Respiratory Therapy.

Career opportunities following completion of the program include: Respiratory Care Practitioner, Critical Care Specialist, Diagnostic Testing Specialist, Education, Home Care Neonatal/Pediatric Specialist and Pulmonary Rehabilitation.

For the Summer June 2022 program entry (Class of June 2024), applications are open now through May 14, 2022.

The steps to applying for the RT program are thoroughly explained in the application packet available here. All students who would like to apply must read this packet in its entirety first.

Prerequisites must be completed or in progress PRIOR to applying for the RT program. Applications will not be accepted if prerequisites are not completed with a ‘C’ grade or better. The prerequisites include College Biology and College Algebra. More details about prerequisites and other preferred preparation for the Respiratory Therapy Program are available in the Application Packet.
